Revered the world over, Central Saint Martins produces some of the leading thinkers of the art world. Hosted in the middle of November, this evening brings together the work of the College’s celebrated alumni and previously unseen work by current students often straight from the studio. All proceeds go towards funding the Postgraduate Art Programme.

This year’s auction includes donations for the live auction from Antony Gormley, Mona Hatoum, Cathy Lomax, Grayson Perry RA, CBE, Kathy Prendergast, Raquib Shaw and Yinka Sonibare MBE (RA).

The evening will also comprise a silent auction with work from students of the MA Arts and Science, MA Fine Art and MA Photography programmes. Given these budding artists’ pedigrees, there is no doubt one or two will be Turner Prize recipients at some point in their careers.

The work will be available for viewing in the run-up to the auction on November 17. The auction itself will be conferred by Henry Howard-Sneyd, the Chairman of Asian Art at Sotheby’s.
