Frieze London 2016 is a highlight on London’s autumn calendar. Annually it brings together the world’s most renowned galleries, showcasing the most significant contemporary artists and supporting non-profit programmes to promote emerging artists commissions and sales. It was also a wonderful platform for artistic talks on the industry. Held in Regent’s Park just off of Baker Street, this high-profile event saw collectors, press and art-lovers convene to marvel at the showing that focused on art created from the late-nineties through present.
At the north end of the park, patrons could find the Frieze Masters tents. The Masters tent is home to art from ancient art through the late 20th century.
The weekend was sponsored by Deutsche Bank, Gucci, Financial Times and BMW and it saw art-lovers come in from all over the world to take in the work. Here are some of the highlights Insignia spotted around the venues.
