Introducing the Tiffany Square Watch

To commemorate its 180th anniversary since Charles Lewis Tiffany opened his store on Lower Broadway in New York in 1837, illustrious jeweller Tiffany & Co has created the Tiffany Square Watch – the first Tiffany & Co. timepiece with an in-house movement – is based on a design from Tiffany’s own archives from when they made Swiss watches years ago.

Measuring 27mm across and 35.88mm wide, the svelte 18k yellow gold case is inspired by a similar square case from the 1920s, and the watch face is a callback to the Art Deco era, with its cathedral-styled watch hands and geometrical numerals. In place of the six o’clock numeral, there is a small seconds indicator in the same square shape. A black alligator strap completes the look.

Limited to 180 pieces worldwide, the Square Watch is as simple as its name and far more elegant, a stunning reinterpretation of a timeless timepiece. It’s good to see Tiffany finally getting serious about watchmaking again.
