The property itself is an eighteenth-century palazzo surrounded by 4,000 square metres of gardens. Featuring 58 rooms, 11 of which are suites, each space is extraordinarily bright with a garden or courtyard view and is furnished with precious materials including teak and oak. The gardens surrounding the palazzo were first cultivated 700 years ago and are an integral part of the property’s identity. The garden is made up of three areas: Vimini, Isolde di Ghiaia and the ultra-exclusive Dom Perignon Bar. With each holding up to 50 guests, they are also delightful places to entertain.

Then there is the spa. Perhaps the crown jewel of the property, the Bulgari Hotel Milan Spa is equal parts contemporary and elegant. Natural light filters through into the pool area making the gold tiles at the bottom of the pool sparkle. The hammam features glass walls and Afyon stone benches while the five treatment rooms are fully stocked with La Mer, Amala and Sothy’s for men.
