At the Italian Spa Awards, Borgo Egnazia’s unique Vair Spa has scooped the most coveted prize of Destination Spa of the Year 2016, voted by guests and clients.

The unique Vair Spa at Borgo Egnazia is calibrated to soothe; offering treatments inspired by ancient Apulian rituals using local ingredients, contemporary Roman-style baths, plunge pools and a resident shaman.

The team of therapists, masseurs, psychologists, yoga masters and naturopaths are unfailingly intuitive, ensuring therapies have deeply resonated with each guest. You are sure to feel a shift.

Patrizia Bortolin, Vair’s Creator and Director, commented “It’s difficult to find spas where I would love to go back to. Beautiful design and location are not enough, trendy menus get boring and unhappy therapists are depressing. I keep this in my mind every day… that’s why I have kept going back to our spa with an inner smile every day, for 6 years. When I feel it’s time to refresh, uplift and upgrade I just do it: I love spas”

The recently updated 2017 Spa Menu includes programmes designed for shattered souls, solo travellers, spiritual seekers, to put men ‘back in the game’, to discover your wild side through adventure:
