Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru Yoga Therapy Centre

Under the leadership of Ayurvedic guru Dr. Shylesh Subramanya, the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru is the world’s first resort to offer yoga therapy courses, which are personalised condition-targeting programmes devised in conjunction with the world’s first “university for yoga” and pioneer of yoga therapy through scientific research. Each three- or five-day programme begins and ends with a consultation, including comprehensive questionnaires, to help align each course with individual needs. Daily 60-minute sessions teach bespoke breathing techniques and postures designed for each ailment, aim, injury or intention. Starting modules target specific common ailments and lifestyle diseases – stress management, diabetes care, spinal care, thyroid health, men’s health, women’s health and addiction management.Follow-up care and support comes in the form of personal video conference sessions, as well as on-site access to complementary spa andAyurvedic treatments, classes and cuisines.

Halcyon Wellness Passport

Denver Colorado boutique hotel, Halcyon, is launching an invigorating summer Wellness Passport. This new guests platform includes a series of partnerships with award-winning fitness studios barre3, Corepower Yoga, Rise Nation, SoulCycle and Tru Fit Athletic Club. The Wellness Passport exclusively grants Halcyon guests one complimentary fitness class each day of their stay, giving them the opportunity to mix up their workout. Officially launched in June 2019, Halcyon is the first hotel to debut a programme with access to multiple off-site, top-tier fitness partners without a membership requirement. Additionally, Halcyon has developed a Summer Fitness Series, where locals and visitors are invited to happy-hour classes hosted on the hotel’s rooftop pool deck and led by local partners barre3 and Corepower Yoga Cherry Creek. And for those who want to get outside the four walls of a gym, the hotel offers complimentary outdoor gear, such as Piaggio Motor Scooters; KOTA Longboards; road, mountain and Swiss E-Bikes cruiser bikes, and more.

Equinox Hotel New York

The inaugural Equinox Hotel in New York incorporates fitness and wellness within every element of the property. The luxury hotel includes the world’s largest Equinox Fitness Club, rounding in at 60,000-square feet, which guests will become members of during their stay. Star features of the fitness space include personal training services, a performance-driven spa, a 25-yard indoor salt water pool, hot and cold plunge pools, as well as a SoulCycle studio and health-focused culinary services from restaurateur Stephen Starr. Beyond the gym, the hotel offers rooms that have been described as ‘the ultimate sleeping chambers’, featuring total soundproofing, a blackout window system, CocoMat all-natural-fibre mattresses and two separate duvets that enable temperature regulation. Each room comes with a foam roller, yoga mat, blocks and straps, whilst the mini-bar contains a juice press and magnesium-based sleep supplements. Other innovative wellness features include access to in-room, on-demand IV vitamin drips, for an extra boost of energy.
