Taking place from 27 May to 14 June 2017, stops include the following nine destinations:

Seoul, South Korea
Tokyo, Japan
Hong Kong
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Mumbai, India
Florence, Italy
Lisbon, Portugal
Copenhagen, Denmark

The itinerary of this journey breaks down as follows:

Seoul, South Korea

The journey kicks off at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul over cocktails with your dedicated support team. Highlights include dinner at celebrated chef Jong Kuk Lee’s home and a visit to Mt. Bukhan to trace the spiritual legacy of Buddhist preparation of temple food used for centuries. Further immerse yourself in Korean culture by visiting a ceramicist’s studio, have lunch at a local brewery and enjoy a festive meal at Jungsik, one of Asia’s top 10 restaurants.

Stay: Four Seasons Hotel Seoul

Tokyo, Japan

Travellers have multiple options from joining renowned chef Namae Shinobu on a foraging expedition outside the city followed by dinner at Michelin-starred L’Effervescence to learning the basic movements of sword fighting from Tetsuro Shimaguchi, perhaps best known for his choreography in Kill Bill (2003). Savour the city’s finest Kobe beef at a private dinner at Yakiniku Nakahara. Visiting Ginza’s famed food halls and sushi-making are also options while guests stay at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi.

Partake in a traditional banquet with a full suckling pig at Fook Lam Moon.

Chiang Mai, Thailand

A visit to Thailand offers a unique look at the Southeast Asian country’s cultural and culinary traditions. Begin your stay with an elephant trek through the lush forests and misty mountains in a nearby tribal village. Dine with Garima Arora, former Noma chef, over lunch at Royal Project farm that aims to boost sustainable farming. Experience Chiang Mai nightlife with Duangporn “Bo” Songvisava, co-founder of Bo.Ian. She is also one of Asia’s best female chefs. Complete your stay at dinner by acclaimed chef David Thompson.

With a focus on fine wines, this leg of the tour will take guests to Tenuta di Valgiano’s estate at a former medieval site. Dine at the historically rich town of Lucca at Damiano Donati’s renowned bistro. Wrap the visit up in Chianti by meeting Dario Cecchini, a fifth-generation butcher, after which dinner will be served at Fulvietto Pierangelini’s Il Bucaniere on the beach at San Vincenzo. On returning to Florence, guests will enjoy a private visit to Uffizi Gallery and Galleria Dell’Accademia.

Stay: Four Seasons Hotel Firenze

Traditional Portuguese maritime cuisine has also been influenced by the delicate spices of North Africa and other fiery flavours of the New World. A local chef will guide you through the historic Mercado da Ribeira, one of Europe’s most renowned fish markets. Nuno Mendes, of Chiltern Firehouse fame, will lead a food tour of Lisbon followed by lunch or an extended tour of Lisbon’s nightlife and street food.
