Seoul, South Korea
The journey kicks off at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul over cocktails with your dedicated support team. Highlights include dinner at celebrated chef Jong Kuk Lee’s home and a visit to Mt. Bukhan to trace the spiritual legacy of Buddhist preparation of temple food used for centuries. Further immerse yourself in Korean culture by visiting a ceramicist’s studio, have lunch at a local brewery and enjoy a festive meal at Jungsik, one of Asia’s top 10 restaurants.

Travellers have multiple options from joining renowned chef Namae Shinobu on a foraging expedition outside the city followed by dinner at Michelin-starred L’Effervescence to learning the basic movements of sword fighting from Tetsuro Shimaguchi, perhaps best known for his choreography in Kill Bill (2003). A visit to Thailand offers a unique look at the Southeast Asian country’s cultural and culinary traditions. With a focus on fine wines, this leg of the tour will take guests to Tenuta di Valgiano’s estate at a former medieval site.
