Experience the allure of the Balearic Islands at the Son Bunyola Hotel, opening its doors in late spring 2023. With a history dating back to the 16th century, this brand-new intimate luxury hotel has been lovingly restored to reflect the island’s traditional architecture and charm. The hotel offers guests a chance to experience the beauty of Mallorca and the luxuriousness of a modern getaway.
The 1,000-acre Son Bunyola estate gives visitors an opportunity to explore the beauty of the UNESCO World Heritage site. The estate has three existing villas, Sa Punta de S’Aguila, Son Balagueret, and Sa Terra Rotja; with the addition of the new Son Bunyola Hotel, guests can stay on the estate itself. The Son Bunyola Hotel features 26 rooms and suites, two restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, and spa treatment rooms.
Central to the estate is the 16th-century Finca, which has been meticulously restored to honour the heritage of the historic building. Traditional and local materials are at the core of the hotel’s design. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned, with the original features retained to preserve the area’s history.
The hotel features 26 beautifully designed rooms and suites, all with their own unique character and charm. Some suites offer 360-degree mountain and sea views, and two Tower Suites showcase vineyard views and the mountains beyond. The former olive press has been transformed into one of the two restaurants, and the historic terrace is now home to the pool.
The Son Bunyola estate has three existing villas that guests can rent exclusively year-round. Each villa has its unique style and character, and all are guaranteed to provide a relaxing, private, and memorable location during your stay. Sa Punta de S’Aguila, located along a track above the coastline, has five bedrooms, a private heated swimming pool, a kitchen, a living room, and a dining area.
Sa Terra Rotja, translated as ‘red earth’ from the local Mallorquín language, is a four-bedroom villa near the edge of the estate and a 20-minute walk from a pebble beach. The villa has a private heated swimming pool and plenty of space on the terrace for sunbathing.
Son Balagueret, a traditional and secluded four-bedroom Mallorcan villa, has plenty of space for guests to relax and take in the beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. The original turret dates back to the 13th century, and the sheltered courtyard central to the house is the perfect place to relax and find a cosy corner to unwind with a book.
The Son Bunyola Hotel and estate offer a unique and luxurious experience for those looking for a serene getaway on the stunning island of Mallorca.
