Visiting Mallorca anytime soon? If so, be sure to check into the Park Hyatt Mallorca – the first Park Hyatt Resort in Europe. The hotel boasts 142 spacious and elegant guestrooms with terraces and gardens, including 16 sophisticated suites with views over the valley, providing the perfect vista when enjoying a glass of Majorcan rosé. Expect classic, understated décor in soothing tones of taupe, a dreamy walk-through wardrobe, a Böse Bluetooth speaker and any hotel information and services you may need is a mere touch away, courtesy of a tablet. Wi-Fi is fast and free. Bathrooms come with a television built into the mirror, Bottega Veneta toiletries, wet room style showers and baths that beckon you to take a soak.

A country club is currently undergoing construction. Expect the finishing product to rock large indoor and outdoor swimming pools, along with tennis courts and a 24-hour gym (for hotel guests only). For those who enjoy a round of golf you are spoilt for choice, take your pick from four courses within a six-mile radius of the hotel. The island also offers fantastic cycling routes, the pleasant temperatures are perfect for training and those who wish to get out and about and sightsee.

Beauty treatments at the sumptuous Serenitas spa are based on the island’s minerals, herbs and fruits. Treatments are individually tailored to meet the needs of every guest, each is devoted to the complete wellbeing of the body, mind, spirit and soul. Both single and couple treatment suites are available, in addition to a room featuring an alpha quartz sand bed, the only one of its kind on the island.

The eclectic variety of bars and restaurants, many alfresco, mean guests can spend days at the hotel without the need to dine elsewhere. The Balearic restaurant serves traditional Majorcan cuisine with creative flair, using organic produce from local farms and ports. Chef David García, who won a Michelin star at Albora in Madrid, heads up the Tapas gastro bar. There is an excellent South Asian restaurant too – the menu changes regularly according to the countries that visiting chefs are from.
