Living by the expression savoir vivre, Assouline offers visual content that inspires life led richly. The brand began their journey producing luxurious coffee table books and have since extended the brand to other sophisticated items including candles, gifts, leather goods and furniture.

From the Plaza Hotel in New York City to Le Bon Marche in Paris and Claridge’s in London, Assouline has set up shop in the most exclusive real estate in the world. “We created this company to be the first luxury brand on culture,” say founders Prosper and Martine Assouline. Offering everything a contemporary library may need, Assouline is a lifestyle brand with books as its cornerstone.

It is only appropriate the luxury brand is situated in a location of equal calibre. Assouline recently moved into a heritage building on Piccadilly. Designed in 1922 by Sir Edward Lutyens, the space is so much more than just a purveyor of fine books. It also invites patrons to immerse themselves in the world of Assouline. If the opening of the space was any indication—featuring a guest list that included Anne Hathaway, Kylie Minogue, Mario Testino—Assouline’s London flagship takes luxury lifestyle to the next level.

The flagship also welcomes customers to enjoy a drink created by the space’s mixologist while lounging on sophisticated leather furniture. In classic concept story style, everything seen in the shop is available for sale.
