Offering an exquisite journey into Nordic cuisine, Aquavit has a penchant for excellence and a mandate to offer patrons inventive cooking techniques and ingredients. The original location in midtown New York City, on 55th Street between Madison and Park to be exact, has been awarded two Michelin Stars.

Led by former pastry chef Emma Bengtsson, a 33-year-old Swede, Aquavit has gotten much attention in America’s most buzzing metropolis. New York Magazine recommends ordering the milk-soaked sweetbreads, the cod and the “uncannily realistic” bird’s nest dessert. Aquavit is huge on presentation, taking farm to table gourmet to the next level.

Opening later in 2016 in London’s well-heeled neighbourhood of St. James, Aquavit’s English counterpart will also be overseen by Bengtsson. Patrons can expect the same top-quality meat and fish Aquavit is renowned for in addition to its dishes’ beautiful presentation. Ideal for the gastronomically adventurous.
