It’s where discretion meets style. MNKY HSE is the newest Mayfair hotspot that aptly opened in the year of the monkey. The ethos behind this chic South American eatery is verbatim “eat, drink and play”.

The restaurant spans two floors. Offering patrons a culinary journey into the exciting world of Latin American cuisine, this locale fuses dining with entertainment. The space was formerly Dover Street Wine Bar and features large vaults that are now home to banquet seating. Both floors feature different flavours of music from international DJs to a house band, to sate every musical taste.

Then there’s the menu. Led by Chef Pablo Penalosa Najera, formerly of the Four Seasons Bogota and Morimoto Mexico City, it combines seasonal British ingredients with the technical know-how of Latin American cuisine. The sharing plates add an additional element of authenticity to the experience. We particularly recommend the Wagyu Tostadas with pico de gallo and the Pipian Verde Sea Bass with pumpkin seeds and Mexican herb sauce.

The ambience is #nofilter SnapChat ready with an impressive collection of cocktails to match. The Floral Rose (Ketel One Citron Vodka, fresh lemon juice, elderflower, rose, freshly pressed ginger, lychee juice and Ruinart Champagne) is particularly photogenic and tastes as great as it looks.
