In Celebration of our Spring campaign, Blossom City and with Bluebird fully in bloom, we invite you all to dust off your dresses and suits and bring your dancing shoes to Bluebird for a springtime celebration in aid of Lady Garden Gynaelogoical Cancer Fund and in celebration of the restaurant’s 20th anniversary and the Chelsea Flower Show.

On Tuesday 6th June, Bluebird are inviting guests to a fabulous evening full of entertainment. Guests can expect a Champagne & canapé reception, a three-course dinner with paired wines, raffle and a live auction. The dress code for the evening ‘Smart, Glamorous’. Executive Head Chef Liam Smith-Laing has created a brand new modern European menu.

22nd May – 11th June | Roland Garros, Paris
Players are readying their rackets for the French Open, one of four Grand Slam Tennis events. It is is not one to be missed by tennis fanatics, held in Paris at Roland Garros, for the finest clay court championships in the world. The ‘Big Four’ of Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are all in action on the men’s side. In the women’s draw Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova will be the top two seeds, with reigning Wilmbledon champion Petra Kvitova and world No 3 Simona Halep also competing.

Indulging in the sport of tennis, both as player and as spectator, means enjoying all the wonderful gifts of the new summer season-sunshine; freshly cut grass, picnics and Pimms. Let the games begin!

Each June, the international fashion community honors the best and brightest in American design at the CFDA Fashion Awards. Founded in 1981, they are the highest honor in fashion and recognize the outstanding contributions made to American fashion in womenswear, menswear, and accessories as well as journalism, creative vision, personal style, and lifetime achievement.

In 2017, the CFDA introduced a unified Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent that applies to womenswear, menswear and accessory design. Additionally, CFDA added the Swarovski Award for Positive Change, which honors an individual in the U.S. fashion industry who has made a positive impact on American communities and has improved the welfare of others.

Nominations for each award category are submitted by the CFDA Fashion Awards Guild, an invitation-only network made up of the 500+ members of the CFDA, along with top fashion retailers, journalists, stylists and influencers. The nominees as well as recipients of the honorary awards are ratified by the CFDA Board of Directors. The Guild also votes for the winners for Womenswear, Menswear and Accessory Designer of the Year, as well as the unified Swarovski Awards for Emerging Talent.


3rd June | Twickenham Stoop Stadium, London

Harlequins has confirmed that world renowned music artist Elton John will perform at The Stoop on 3rd June as part of his worldwide wonderful crazy night tour. The concert, organised as part of the Club’s on-going 150th Anniversary celebrations, will be the first time that a major musical artist will perform a concert inside The Stoop’s stadium bowl.

After the release of his new album Wonderful Crazy Night, Elton John known as one of the world’s greatest showmen, is hitting the stage to showcase his new album and songs to his audiences in London where he will perform songs from his latest studio album ‘Wonderful Crazy Night’, as well as his most-loved hits from his stellar career.
